Tracy Pfau Voiceover testimonials
Tracy Pfau never ceases to create beautiful voice work, reaching far beyond my expectations as a producer. Even with difficult, challenging, or sometimes abstract scripts, Tracy is able to read and interpret material in a way that is moving and often quite touching for our audiences. She is dependable and easy to work with, and has incredible range. She’s my favorite voice performer, period.

Tracy’s vocal magic has graced several of my productions. She performed multiple Japanese voices in my films MEMOIRS OF A TEENAGE AMNESIAC, and she voiced my teenage lead and multiple adult roles in pitch materials for a sci-fi feature film. Tracy even helped me to cast voices and quickly assembled actors as top-notch as herself. I’m looking forward to our next collaboration!

I actually hired Tracy to work with my 17 year old daughter who finds it very hard to speak in class. They worked together for two hours and my daughter came away with some very clear and important insights into herself about why she gets so nervous. Tracy gave us a simple program to continue with. Highly recommend for this purpose.
I have the highest praise for Tracy! Having worked with many coaches in LA and else where I can truly say she has been the best and most thorough educator in the VO Biz I’ve ever worked with. Because she is a working voice actor herself she is on top of the trends, mainstays and understands what is needed to have a viable VO career. Tracy guided me through the in’s and outs of the biz and showed me the tools needed to succeed. Most importantly she has boosted my confidence in regard to my own talents and abilities. I am indebted to Tracy for helping me to realize dream.

Tracy has been an invaluable asset for me in helping me get my voice over career off the ground. She provides detail oriented craft coaching and individually tailored career mentoring to an extent which well exceeded my expectations. She truly cares about her student’s success! With Tracy’s step by step guidance, I have set up a professional quality in home studio, secured agency representation, and started booking. Thanks to her my confidence as a voice actor is at an all time high, and I feel I’m becoming the caliber of professional you must be if you’re to succeed in this extremely competitive industry.
As many times as I’ve worked with other coaches, and there have been many, no one has matched the thorough understanding of the voice over business. As a working voice over artist herself, Tracy stays on top of the current trends and mainstays while guiding you through the necessary work needed to get you on top of your VO game. Tracy is so easy to work with. Most importantly she has boosted my confidence in my abilities to realize my goals even beyond what I thought was possible. I can’t recommend Tracy enough. She’s a gem!
I was very fortunate to have worked with Tracy. Public speaking does not come natural to me yet my work does require me to do presentations and product demos. And working with Tracy helped me tremendously. First off, she is incredibly friendly, patient, and empathetic. Her methods are simple but really effective. I used to be really rigid in my previous presentations, but after working with her, I am much more relaxed and I allow the presentation to flow much more naturally. The result is I keep my audience’s attention much more. I would say that the improv exercises we did were the most effective. I think anyone, in particular those who are introverted like myself, and find it difficult to present will benefit from her insight and guidance. She is a great person to know and you should consider yourself lucky if you get the chance to work with her.
Tracy is an Amazing Acting coach/teacher. She is extremely well versed in the ins and outs of the industry and really gets you feeling confident, not only in your abilities, but in your ability to audition and book roles as well. Working with Tracy I have seen a great improvements. I feel prepared, capable, confident, and supported.
Tracy has helped me understand VO copy, clearly. Reinforces key points throughout coaching sessions before moving to next segment.Tracy is a confidence builder that’s helped me see and connect to the nuances of self and copy. Tracy is fun, insightful and introspective. An expert at the craft.

Tracy Pfau has helped my daughter with British Accent for Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, the Disney’s Broadway Mary Poppins the Musical. In just four hours, she has taught my daughter a lot of skills to make her sound British. In addition, she coached my daughter the acting part of it as well. Tracy is very professional and my daughter enjoyed the lessons very much. We highly recommend Mrs. Tracy Pfau for dialect and acting coach.
Tracy Pfau was my first acting coach in Los Angeles. Since I’m first a singer, I needed to learn what young actors do at auditions.I learned how to cold read from her and how important it is to be “off book,” I really look forward to Tracy coming to coach me. I’m learning everything I need to be successful in TV, film and commercials.

Tracy is the consummate voice-over coach! When I was getting my VO career going, I
didn’t initially realize how lucky I was to have found her but that quickly changed. The
depth and breadth of Tracy’s talent and industry experience brought immeasurable
value to our sessions, not only with developing my personal skills, but with giving me
insight as to where I should focus my energy and resources. She made me feel
comfortable when I was unsure of myself, provided excellent imagery in her instruction,
was accessible and flexible in terms of scheduling, and was eminently generous with
her knowledge and advice. She also helped me put together an awesome, professional
commercial demo. And bonus!Tracy is an absolute delight as a person: kind, funny,
smart. I highly recommend her!

I’m an Italian translator and conference interpreter. I moved to Los Angeles in April 2015 and I was hoping to find a valid voice coach to improve my spoken English and consequently my job opportunities.
Research was a bit hard at first. Many factors came into play. Then I was lucky enough to meet the delightful Tracy Pfau. I can honestly say working with Tracy was one of the best things that happened to me in my stay in LA.
Tracy is a consummate professional. She gives it all for her students. First she made sure I felt comfortable in my learning environment. Which made me understand immediately how much she cared about her profession.
She was always punctual. She went the extra mile to provide me with material to study and work on, even bringing extra work home herself sometimes. She was extremely patient, she would always grant me some extra minutes to make sure I had understood all the notions. She taught me things I will remember for life and I had been waiting for so long to learn.
Tracy Pfau is a passionate, competent and versatile professional. And she’s a pleasure to interact with as a person. If you are looking for an accent/dialect reduction trainer, I highly recommend that you call her. You won’t regret that 🙂

Tracy is an amazing accent reduction coach. She is very caring and hard working. Every week she has new material and she will send you recordings of your session and homework the very next day. Very helpful teacher. I can hear my improvement every week.

It was a true pleasure working with Tracy. She’s extremely talented and very dedicated to her clients. By showing me how I was pronouncing sentences differently from Americans and practicing with me, she really helped me reduce my (French/Belgian) accent. Now I realize when I am speaking with an accent, even in regular conversations, and it allows me to purposefully work on it. Thank you Tracy!
– Bruno DeNuit.
Tracy really understands dialects and can point out precisely what’s wrong with my accent and how to fix it. She’s also providing very valuable exercises to work at home, so I can work on improving my accent whenever I have time.

During the time of operation of Let The Kids Grow Los Angeles, California 2013-2014. I had the privilege of working with and managing Mrs. Tracy Pfau, she was our head Acting instructor. She had the tasks and duties of working with underprivileged children of the community to help them stay off the streets and into the classrooms. She was able to work with children that possessed some knowledge of acting to complete beginners. She was professional and always uplifting to the children and respected them in a professional and caring manner as if they were her own. She not only taught them the basics fundamentals of acting but she showed them the professionalism and seriousness of the business surrounding a acting career. The ages of the children ranged from 4-17. As this was a after school program she would always be ready with a lesson plan and would not mind helping after hours if needed. I have learned that to be a great instructor you need to first have a great heart and a seriousness to the profession, and Mrs. Pfau is the total package as she is a great instructor and a great mentor and even after the program finished she was still willing to work with the children on a personal basis to really help these children accomplish their goals in the acting profession. I would be more than happy to recommend Mrs. Pfau in any future projects as I do not recommend people unless I really believe in them.
– Gibran Escobar.
Tracy is very pleasant and efficient!
If it’s your voice or an acting class, Mrs. Tracy is an expert in the entertainment industry and she know what it takes to make it.
– Mother of tween actress, Ania.
Tracy Pfau is simply wonderful to work with. I came to her to record a VO demo reel and I could not have been more pleased with the results. I have a terrific reel now thanks to Tracy. She has a very unique ability to identify your strengths as a VO artist and to help you identify a specific voice signature, which is extremely important to know as a voice performer. She is a gifted VO artist in her own right, and you would do yourself a favor to listen to her work on voicebank. I’m certain you will be as impressed as I was.
